How to Reach Wuerzburg

By Plane

You can take a plane to Frankfurt (FRA) or Nuremberg (NUE). From all airports, you can take a train to Wuerzburg. From Frankfurt Airport, the train takes about 1 1/2 hours and departs every hour. From Nuremberg, the train takes between 1 and 2 hours and departs almost every half an hour.

By train

Normally, you can reach Wuerzburg really easy by train.

How to Reach the University of Wuerzburg by Bus

If your hotel is located in the city center you can reach the University within ~30 minutes by bus. Some examples how to reach the University are listed below:

Bus stop "Mainfranken Theater"

Take bus number 14 with destination "Gerbrunn". The bus leaves at 8:12 am and arrives at 8:22 am at the bus stop "Am Hubland" where you need to get off.

Bus stop "Barbarossaplatz"

Take bus number 14 with destination "Gerbrunn". The bus leaves at 8:10 am and arrives at 8:22 am at the bus stop "Am Hubland" where you need to get off.

Bus stop "Kulturspeicher" (e.g., Ibis hotel)

Take bus number 11 with destination "Busbahnhof". The bus leaves at 7:58 am and arrives at Busbahnhof at 8:02. From there take the bust number 14 with destination "Gerbrunn" which leaves at 8:07 and arrives at 8:22 am at the bus stop "Am Hubland" .
