Prof. Jiangchuan Liu

(Professor of Fraser University, Canada)

Jiangchuan Liu is currently a Full Professor (with University Professorship) in the School of Computing Science at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada. He is a Fellow of The Canadian Academy of Engineering, an IEEE Fellow and an NSERC E.W.R. Steacie Memorial Fellow. He is also an EMC-Endowed Visiting Chair Professor of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China (EMC讲席教授, 2013-2016) and an Adjunct Professor of Tsinghua Shenzhen Graduate School. He was a Microsoft Research Fellow and worked at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) in the summers of 2000, 2001, 2002, 2007, and 2011. He received BEng (Cum Laude) from Tsinghua University in 1999, and PhD from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2003 (through HKUST’s MED program with recommendation from Education Ministry of China and scholarship from Hong Kong Jockey Club; recipient of 2004 Hong Kong Young Scientist Award for the PhD work). From 2003 to 2004, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Prof. Mianxiong Dong

(Professor of Muroran Institute of Technology, Muroran, Japan)

Mianxiong Dong currently a professor and Vice President of Muroran Institute of Technology, Japan. He was a visiting scholar with BBCR group at University of Waterloo, Canada, from April 2010 to August 2011. His research interests include Wireless Networks, Cloud Computing, and Cyber-physical Systems. Dr. Dong serves as an Editor for IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking (TGCN), IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, IEEE Network, IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, IEEE Cloud Computing, IEEE Access, as well as a leading guest editor for ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications and Applications (TOMM), IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing (TETC), IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems (TCSS). He has been serving as the Vice Chair of IEEE Communications Society Asia/Pacific Region Information Services Committee and Meetings and Conference Committee. He is the recipient of IEEE TCSC Early Career Award 2016, IEEE SCSTC Outstanding Young Researcher Award 2017, The 12th IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Young Researcher Award 2017, Funai Research Award 2018 and NISTEP Researcher 2018 (one of only 11 people in Japan) in recognition of significant contributions in science and technology. He is currently the Member of Board of Governors and Chair of Student Fellowship Committee of IEEE Vehicular Technology Society, and Treasurer of IEEE ComSoc Japan Joint Sections Chapter. He is Clarivate Analytics 2019 Highly Cited Researcher (Web of Science).

Prof. Yusheng Ji

(Professor of National Institute of Informatics, NII, Japan)

Yusheng Ji received the B.E., M.E., and D.E. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Tokyo. She joined the National Center for Science Information Systems (NACSIS), Japan, in 1990. She is currently a Professor with the National Institute of Informatics (NII), and the Graduate University for Advanced Studies, SOKENDAI, Japan. Her research interests include network architecture, resource management in wireless networks, and mobile computing. She has served as Symposium Co-Chair of IEEE GLOBECOM in 2012 and 2014, Track Chair of IEEE VTC 2016 Fall and 2017 Fall, General Co-chair of ICT-DM 2018, and Symposium Co-Chair of IEEE ICC 2020. She is an Editor of IEEE Transactions of Vehicular Technology, Associate Editor of IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine, General Co-chair if MSN 2020, and TPC Member of IEEE INFOCOM, ICC, GLOBECOM, WCNC, etc.

Prof. Jianping Wang

(Professor of City University of Hong Kong)

Jianping Wang is currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong. She received BSc and MSc degrees from Nankai University in 1996 and 1999 respectively, and her Ph.D. degree from University of Texas at Dallas in 2003. Prior to joining CityU, She worked at Georgia Southern University and University of Mississippi as an assistant professor. Her research interests include security and motion planning in autonomous driving, dependable networking, wireless networking, optical networking, cloud computing, service oriented networking, data center networks, integration of Fiber-Wireless networks, and network coding. She is Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, Associate Editor of IEEE Communications Letters, and Associate Editor of Wiley’s Security and Communication Networks (SCN).
