The First International ICST Conference on Mobile Networks and Management (MONAMI) will be held at the at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in October, 13th and 14th. MONAMI 2009 aims at bringing together top researchers, academics and practitioners specializing in the area of Mobile Network Management (MNM).

Highlights of MONAMI'09 include:

• Keynote on Managing Heterogeneous Wireless Technologies: Objects Tracking and Services Development, by Prof. Antonio Puliafito (University of Messina).
• Presentations of 13 outstanding papers on 5 single track sessions, covering hot topics on multiaccess and resource management, mobility management, and network management.
• Tutorial on Mobility and Multiaccess in Emerging Internet Architectures by Kostas Pentikousis, PhD (VTT).
• Panel on Energy Efficiency in Mobile Multiaccess Networks.
